Well the new year is six days old and I have been very busy making cards. Have completed my ‘Taste of the Orient’ cards - made tiny kimonos out of yuzen paper.

Well as you can see it’s been a while since I wrote anything. Work has been extremely hectic and I am so glad that the holidays are here. Have a whiole lot of ATC swaps I am working through as well as a number of circle journal pages to complete. I am also in the process of getting back to making cards - it’s funny how I am used to working on ATC sized pieces that a larger piece of canvas makes me think a bit. Am off to upload a whole of new ATC to my folder so feel free to check them out

I was busy creating and turned around to get something from my pigeon holes and instead of fabric I found my cat!…. she wasn’t real pleased to be glued to an ATC

I now have two weeks to spend in my craft room!!!!! I have a few swaps to finish and a couple of pages to create for a journal swap I am in. I spent today making ATCs for a ‘Let Them Have Wings’ Swap - am rather pleased with how they turned out - check them out in the gallery. Have also been making a few inchies and have put them into a new folder.

Have been very busy at school with exam marking and report writing but have managed to make a few ATC’s over the past few days. I have started using fabric as the base for my cards and there are are a couple that are new in my gallery. I also spent quite a few hours adding beads to fabric for a sparkly christmas swap and am in the process of blanket stitching around the edges of them. Have also completed a Blue, Black & Silver swap as well as a swap for my Stamphappy group.

ATCs are a real passion of mine. The size of them (6.4cm x 8.9cm) definitely makes creating them a challenge. I love using my stamps and papers to create new and interesting ways of interpreting a theme. I recently joined atcards.com and have been invovled in a lot of swaps through them.
